For over 40 years, Avishkar has carved a niche with its luxurious and intricate bed linen. Avishkar was indeed my mother Uma Todi’s creation. She prided herself on her workmanship, intricate threadwork, and quality above all else. I continue her trusted legacy with the same passion.
For classic embroidered bed linen, it doesn’t get better than Avishkar.
For over 38 years, Avishkar has been dedicated to crafting luxurious linens that stand the test of time and trends. Founder Uma Todi began the business in 1982 on Theatre Road in Kolkata, becoming popular among newlyweds for her exquisite bridal linen collections. She remains deeply involved in the production process alongside her core team of longstanding employees.
Since then, we’ve evolved to focus on timeless, tailored bed linen for trousseau collections. Nine years ago, we expanded to design linens for infants and kids under the label NOTTY NITES!
I am proud to continue this tradition, launching our kid’s line “Notty Nites” with the same commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
